Hui Hihiri Event Terms & Conditions

Tertiary Student and Standard Paid Registration 

1. Registration and Payment 

1.1 All registrations must be completed online through the official conference registration form. 
1.2 Registration is only confirmed upon full payment of the registration fee via the accepted payment methods outlined on the registration page. 
1.3 Registrants must ensure all provided information is accurate and up to date. 

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy 

2.1 Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to huihihiri@kanapu.maori.nz. 
2.2 Refunds will not be provided under any circumstances other than event cancellation (see 4.2). 

3. Transfer of Registration 

3.1 Registrations may be transferred to another individual by email request at least 2 business days before the event. If notice of transfer is given more than 5 business days before the event, and if given ample information, organisers will aim to amend the event lanyard for the new attendee.  
3.2 The new attendee must meet eligibility requirements and agree to these terms. 

4. Event Changes and Liability 

4.1 The organisers reserve the right to modify the event programme or venue. 
4.2 If the conference is cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, a refund of the registration fee or a credit for the rescheduled event will be provided. 

5. Code of Conduct and Liability 

5.1 Attendees must adhere to the kaupapa of the event and behave respectfully. 
5.2 The organisers are not liable for personal injuries, property loss, or travel disruptions related to the event. 

5.3 The organisers reserve the right to remove attendees for inappropriate or disruptive behaviour. 

6. Special Requirements 

6.1 Attendees must inform organisers during registration of any dietary, accessibility, or other special requirements.


High School Students & Kaumātua Registration (No Cost) 

1. Eligibility 

1.1 High School Student registrations are available exclusively to individuals currently enrolled in a recognised high school or kura kaupapa.  
1.2 Registrants must complete the official online registration form. 

2. Cancellation Policy 

2.1 Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to huihihiri@kanapu.maori.nz. 
2.2 As there is no fee, no refunds or credits are applicable. 

3. Transfer of Registration
