Poutūterangi, te kanapatanga o Hui hihiri ‘‘Whakahikonga Uira: Igniting our Leadership in Research, Science, Innovation and Technology (RSIT)’. Pau katoa te rāngai ki te whare- he pīki mihi i tērā. He aro ki ngā pūkenga o te wā me te āta huaki i te ara ki tō muri ake.
Kanapu hosted its fourth national flagship wānanga, Hui Hihiri, in mid-March. It was the first time that Kanapu had held a hybrid event – in-person and online. A highlight this year was ‘mentoring in action’ with keynote speakers encouraged to involve a mentee as a workshop co-facilitator, i.e investing by design in the next generation of RSIT experts. In addition, Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and mentees were given an opportunity to gain valuable public speaking experience as well as expanding their networks to a sector that was well represented.
